Gareth is a Director at Civic and a founder of The Engineers Reuse Collective, a non-for profit group of practicing engineers championing, accelerating and delivering reuse in the built environment, he also chairs the NLA Net Zero expert panel and is a visiting lecturer at the University of Creative Arts and at the University of Cambridge where he teaches architectural students structural design and industry professionals on sustainability and building reuse.

He is passionate about delivering sustainable developments and is an industry leader in adopting circular economy and building/material reuse with a focus on collaboration to break down barriers for sharing materials across the industry.

Gareth is a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers and Institution of Civil Engineers.
